Mental Health within the LGBTQIA+ Community in Singapore

In order to fully support the community, we need to first identify the factors impacting the mental health of LGBTQIA+ individuals in Singapore’s context.

We conducted a survey with 100 respondents, 17 interviews with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies, including 5 Safe Space therapists.

With the help of both respondents and Safe Space therapists, we have compiled a list of tips on how we as individuals, organizations and as a society can show our support to the community.

Here’s what you can expect to find inside the white paper:

  • Potential factors influencing the mental health of the LGBTQIA+ community.
  • Common issues faced by the LGBTQIA+ community in their daily lives.
  • Recommendations on how we can show our support as individuals and as a society.
