Safe Space connects users with counsellors and facilitates online & offline counselling sessions. As a counsellor, you’ll get clients that you’re best equipped to assist, and and you’ll get to call your own hours - generally from the comfort of your office or home.
I’ve been an advocate of ending the mental health stigma in Singapore for over 5 years. With nearly 10 years of experience in the advertising industry, I’ve witnessed firsthand how devastating the effects of stress can be, especially when a person doesn’t have anyone they can turn to. Most options for therapy were either too expensive or not time-convenient. My hope is that Safe Space helps users get the help they need quickly and affordably.
During my past 6 years experience in advertising, I’ve encountered too many friends and colleagues going through severe stress and anxiety-related issues. I constantly felt helpless for them, as finding the right treatment was either unaffordable or was considered too ‘taboo’, and many of them were ashamed to be seen visiting a mental health institution. With Safe Space, our hope is to help users maintain their mental well-being.
